Wilderness Medicine Courses

The Center for Wilderness Safety is proud to be a member of the Wilderness Medical Society, and offers its own courses based upon the National Practice Guidelines for Wilderness Emergency Care, published by the Society. Our Wilderness First Aid course also encompasses the American Red Cross curriculum for its Wilderness First Aid certification, and therefore participants who successfully complete the WFA course have the option to also receive this American Red Cross certification.
